Safety Inspection

Hits: 2569

Commercial vehicles like cargo vans or heavy-duty trucks will need regular inspections to make sure they’re working properly. A qualified service center like Lynch Truck Center will check brakes, tires, fluid levels, and any high-wear components. If the truck or van in question is a light-duty vehicle, a safety inspection is recommended every 3,000-5,000 miles, and medium- and heavy-duty vehicle inspections are recommended at 10,000-20,000 miles.

Decades of preparation. Milliseconds of proof.

All vehicles need oil changes, and the best way to determine how often you’ll need an oil change is to check your owner’s manual. The oil change interval could be as little as 3,000 miles and as much as 20,000 miles. While an oil change might seem simple, the service center at Lynch Truck Center has experience with a wide range of vehicles, and we’re even Trained and Certified. We offer frequent service specials as well.

DOT Inspection – If your commercial vehicle weighs more than 10,000 pounds, you’ll have to undergo an annual Department of Transportation inspection. They’ll check out the brakes, safety systems, exhaust, fuel system, head lights, serpentine belt, and more. It can be a good idea to schedule a safety inspection before your DOT inspection to make sure there are no issues.
